Enrooted Ownership

@landandladies We returned the second day to finish out the Symposium… There was more chatter amongst attendees: building the connections amongst one another and professionals; creating relationships to last past this two day event… Jammed packed with informative information on how important financial sustainability is for the land, and different means to get there such as protecting yourself with contracts and what options carbon markets might have… We learned the importance of being involved and the vast opportunities available across the southeast from a panel of the other womens programs! And we were filled with the ever important question of: what do we want our legacy to be? The steps we take today, build the future… so let’s make it one we can look back to be proud of! And that’s a wrap for 2023… Coming 2025: ENROOTED Ownership. #forestry #forestrye#foresto#evento#womenempowermento#womenempoweringwomend#empoweredwomenr#treesn#treen#landr#landownerr#landownershipg#landmanagementn#forestmanagementa#landandladiesb#sustainability ♬ Could Have Been Me by The Struts - ConfusedTwinkNoises

Social Reception & Silent Auction

Join Us for an Evening of

Mystical Magic & Fang-tastic Fun!

We are thrilled to invite you to a special social reception featuring the enchanting Evan Disney, The Magic Castle Magician seen on America's Got Talent, PLUS celebrity meet and greet with Kaylyn Glenn from Swamp People: Serpent Invasions!

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an evening of entertainment, mingle with fellow landowners, forestry and natural resource professionals in our exhibit hall, and create unforgettable memories with your family. Whether you're a magic enthusiast, a fan of Swamp People, or just looking for a way to grow your community, this reception is one you won't forget.

This reception is not just for entertainment though, but an opportunity to leave an impact. During the reception, our Silent Auction will be in full swing, to share the story of Caroline's Legacy and the importance of perseverance, faith and long-standing impact. This is a perfect chance to support our community initiatives while acquiring something special for yourself or your property.

Why a Silent Auction?

Hosted in honor of a friend, Caroline Ward Olsen, who battled Ovarian cancer and passed in 2021, shortly after the original Woman Landowner Symposium. Caroline helped orchestrate this Silent Auction as a way to spread awareness of ovarian cancer. A passionate wildlife biologist and nature enthusiast, we will share more about "Caroline's Legacy" at the silent auction. All funds will be 100% donated to The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
According to the American Cancer Society, ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women.
